If Jesus came back right now as a regular guy and went on tv to share His thoughts and views on politics, sociology, human rights, and how most of the media subjects of today contradicts the bible and His plans for us, most people would send Him hate mail, He would get death threats, and the rage in some people would be crazy. Jesus is loving but He is not politically correct. He will point out sin as sin and not sugar-coat it.
Many people today don’t realize that the reason they’re not happy, the reason they’re not enjoying life is simply because they’ve trained their minds in the wrong direction. They’ve programmed their minds to worry. They’ve programmed their minds to complain. They’ve programmed their minds to see the negative. But just as we can train our mind to focus on the negative, we can also reprogram our minds to focus on the positive. It all depends on what you meditate on.
When we meditate on the Word of God, we reprogram our minds. When we meditate on God’s goodness, we are developing a right mindset. When we choose to be grateful and focus on what’s right rather than what’s wrong, we are choosing a positive attitude. This doesn’t happen automatically; you have to discipline yourself to focus on the right things. You have to make a conscious effort to spend time in the Word of God every single day until a habit is formed.
I believe that as you honor God with your time, He’ll multiply it back to you. As you stay faithful and focused on Him, He will direct your steps, and you will embrace the blessing and victory He has in store for you!

I’m beginning to realize more and more each day why it is so important for Christians to spread the gospel and why God says it’s so important to do it. I find myself ministering more to Christians who don’t really know what God expects of them. The simple stuff that I thought all Christians knew, I am now finding out that not every Christian knows them. Like the fact that you must forgive others for doing you wrong in order for God to forgive you when you ask Him to forgive you for your wrong-doing. I thought every Christian knew this, but I found out in several conversations that not every Christian is aware of this. And another one is about prayer. I thought every Christian knew that you have to have faith in God to answer what you are praying about, and you can’t be sinning in the process of praying, and if you have sinned, you have to ask God for forgiveness and try to clean up your life because God answers the prayers of the righteous. You also have to be patient and never lose faith because God may answer it the next day or the next year. It all depends on when God thinks it’s the perfect time to do it. And lastly, if He doesn’t answer the prayer He will give you a clear reason why by speaking to you through the holy spirit. There are a lot of things God wants us to be aware of and a lot of things that He expects of us and a lot of Christians and non-believers alike don’t know about them and some don’t understand them. I mean, its not hidden. It’s publicly displayed in the bible for all to see. I understand if you read the bible and don’t understand it and you need someone to help you by explaining certain things, but if you don’t even pick up the bible and put a honest effort in strengthening your faith, then I don’t understand why you would blame God or others for you life being a mess. This world seriously need the Word of God kept on their minds. This is why it is so important for devout Christ-Followers who are established in their faith to help these people out. This is the main reason why God said we have to spread the gospel (and yes He commands us to do it.)This world is lacking the simple knowledge that God wants us all to know and abide by. I have learned while ministering to others that some Christians are very passive and laid-back in their faith and it’s only when they are in a emotional crisis or a low point in life, that they really listen to you and take in the spiritual knowledge God wants them to have. So my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, we have a lot of work to do.

Religion has nothing to do with having a relationship with Christ. Religion has nothing to do with being a Christian. Christianity is not a religion. Being a Christian just means that you decided to pick up your cross and follow Jesus. There are many religious groups out there who don’t even have a relationship with The Lord. They revolve around their religious rituals and most times that becomes their God. Jesus came to break down the barriers of religion in order to set you free from sin, so that you can willingly give your heart to Him and follow His lead. Religion will not get you to heaven. Religion can’t give you that personal relationship with Jesus. Only you can do that and that decision is yours and no one else’s. Only you can open up your heart and ask Jesus to come in and change your life. It’s up to you to build up your relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s up to you to obey the commands of becoming a disciple and spreading the gospel. This is all up to you and religion can’t make this important decision of your fate for you. I don’t have a religion. Personally I find no need for it and I have found disappointing flaws and corruption in most of them. This does not mean that I am totally against all of them. But, I don’t need religion. All I need is Jesus. All I need is to love Him, honor Him, obey Him, repent from my sins, and spread His gospel and I have my place in heaven. It is as simple as that but most times religion makes things complicated and some even mislead and manipulate it’s people with false teachings. You can avoid things like this by focusing more on what the Holy Spirit tells you when you are praying and reading the bible, and less on what a mere man/woman is telling you. Of course, it’s ok to take advice and counciling from people, but be careful and make sure they have the right intentions for helping you. Keeping in constant prayer and reading The Word will help you determine weather or not someone is a false prophet. In conclusion, religion has nothing to do with being a Christian. If you want to be a Christian you must have a relationship with Jesus. And Jesus is the only way to heaven. It’s as simple as that.
