Crying Out to God
1 Samuel 7:7-9
When we face a crisis, the Lord is willing and able to help. But before He will become involved and release His divine energy into our situation, He requires one thing: a righteous heart.
This, of course, is not an expectation that we live perfect lives, which our Father knows would be impossible. When a sinner turns to God for salvation, He cleanses the heart of iniquity and gives that person a new nature (2 Cor. 5:17). Yet even believers will follow old “flesh” patterns at times, so the Lord calls us to confess and repent when we miss the mark. Then He will “cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Thankfully, He hears us in our imperfection as long as we desire to walk in His way. The problem arises, however, when a Christian knowingly lives in sin and chooses not to turn from it—the Lord will not hear an unrepentant heart.
The heavenly Father also desires that His children cry out to Him (Ps. 34:15-17). During trials, we tend to pray this way, with increased focus, passion, and sincerity. Hannah is a good example. Heartbroken over her barrenness, she went to the temple and beseeched the Lord with such emotion that the priest thought she was drunk! God answered her plea and opened her womb (1 Sam. 1:1-20).
When a crisis comes, cry out to our almighty God, but be sure you do so with a righteous heart. Then He will hear and answer—either fulfilling your hoped-for request or providing a different solution. Because He is omniscient, loving, and sovereign, you can fully trust that His answer is in your best interest.
” —Team Jesus Page - https://www.facebook.com/onlyteamjesusIf a friend hated another friend of yours and told you not to talk about that friend when you’re around them….Would you do it? Would you not speak the name of your friend or anything about your friend just to make that other friend happy? Think about it? Well a lot of us do that with Jesus. He is supposed to be our best friend. But we remain silent about him just because other people or friends don’t believe in him. That really doesn’t sound like friendship to me.
Hope everybody is keeping the sabbath holy. Thank you God for your many blessings. Remember, make sure what ever you do today is for the Lord. God Bless!
Discipline, not desires determines our fate. We have to have discipline to control our desires. We can’t let things we enjoy doing control our lives. They will become a cancer on our Christianity if we don’t practice discipline and self-control. Even if you fail in your discipline, don’t ever give up. Start again tomorrow. When you fall, don’t lie there. Get back up. God respects the person that tries, but how do you think He feels about a quitter? If you are struggling with discipline in finances, not sleeping, weight-loss, music choices, friendships, relationships, or desires of the flesh, it’s time to practice discipline and self-control right now, in our lives. We all know when something we are doing is not right. And it starts with priorities, prayer, and reading the bible. We can do it! Discipline is important in our lives, so let’s start practicing for ourselves and our God! God Bless!
Ignore you? No, I would never ignore anyone when it comes to the subject of Christianity. No true Christian can judge a person. Only God can. And if Christians are speaking God’s word and someone gets offended, they should take offense to God, because it is His words we are speaking. What I was trying to say was that God is taking judgment, not the Christian. I am not talking about crazy extremists that try to push things down your throat, and say you are going to hell. Those people are not of God and will be punished by God. They are false-prophets. It is my job to speak God’s words as a Christian and I take it seriously. There is nothing you can say that I haven’t heard already. The angry rants from unbeliever’s over the years just have made me stronger in my relationship with Christ. All they do is actually help me build a closer relationship with God so that I can spread His words to others that want to hear. If you don’t want to hear it, I can’t force you, nor will I, because that is not right. If you are unhappy with the things I said, it’s your right to ignore it. But it’s my duty to get the word out there for people who are lost and want a relationship with God, but don’t know where to start. I want them to know that amongst the angry unbelievers, and the fake so-called Christians preaching hate and manipulating the bible, there are a few Christians out there that actually care about them and will present God’s word in a strong, truthful, non-negative manner. We true Christians are suppose to be use the attacks or cruel remarks and take them and turn them into a positive. When I talk of God, I do not throw it down anyone’s throat. When I feel that they are not interested, I move on to the next. Believe what you will, but there are millions of people out there just subconsciously waiting for someone to tell them about the Gospel and change their lives. They just need help because they are not educated in the word. Whatever remarks you have against Christianity or the bible, I take it as my battle scars that I will wear with honor, knowing that I pleased God by handling your negativity in a good Christian manner. I am doing my job and taking pride in my work. It gets hard sometimes, and I’ve been through a lot due to the sin of Man, (not God). God has never let me down. When I pray to Him, He answers. And He answers when He thinks the time is right, and He always is. I am not perfect, but when I make a mistake or sin, I ask God for forgiveness and help and guidance! He is always there for me when I call on Him, and He will be for you too, if you just call on Him in sincerity! God Bless!
If the world offers up negativity and despair, surprise the world by giving back love and kindness. Send out the energy that you wish to experience, and you are certain to experience it. Happiness and fulfillment are alive in this moment. Allow them to flow freely and creatively through your life. Fall in love all over again with the miracle of being. Your imagination is great and magnificent, yet it cannot hold even a fraction of the possibilities. You’ll do, say and act your best when you feel your best. Feel the limitless wonder of this very moment. Be beautiful, alive, aware and filled with the energy of the possible. In this moment, is every dream made and fulfilled.” —Ralph Marston (via thesebrokenbonesalwaysseemtomend)
Dear Lord,
I love You and thank You for all You have done for me. I ask that You bless me, my family, my tumblr friends, their friends and their families. Please Lord, put a spiritual blanket of protection around them that will shield them from the danger and evil this world is infected with. Arm them with strength to combat the temptations the devil will offer. Fill their hearts with laughter, happiness and joy. Lord, I ask that if any are in need of Your help from pain and despair, I pray that You lift them out of that agonizing hole and lead them back to righteousness. I ask that peace be with them all.
In the name of Jesus I pray,
Amen!

Ephesians 4:26
I kinda hate it when a lot of celebrities or secular singers “Thank God” in their speeches for their movies or songs. Umm…most of the stuff they do in the movies or songs God does not even approve of. Materialism, Lust, Greed. Have you heard of “The Seven Deadly Sins?” Most celebrities and…
